Illegal Immigrants Left For Dead By Smugglers

In this day and age of the media and the far left telling of all of the so-called atrocities that are happening by our government and the men and women that work there on behalf of the United States people on the southern border.  We never hear of how these people are actually better after medical care and being given food and water.  We are not hearing about corrupt leaders of the countries that these people are coming from.  We are not hearing about the heroes in these countries that are trying to stand up to the corrupt leaders of these countries.  The Media is not giving them a voice.  If they did, more world-wide political pressure could be gained for change.

The United States has in the past stepped in and helped make these changes and was held up as a standard for the rights and welfare of all.  This was done openly and covertly at times.  Due to the changes of politics and Media in our own country it is frowned upon today.  Because of the actions of the past, good and bad, to many in the region the United States is still a beacon for Freedom and Justice but we are  not allowed to do it today.  Rather than the US helping those citizens in these corrupt countries change for the better, the citizens of those coutries seeing no hope or assistance for change are trying to leave there, for here.

They are leaving any way they can.  They are paying for safe passage for their lives.  They may be abused, sold into slavery, sexually assaulted, or one maybe two may be killed so that  the rest of the group may continue.  These smugglers already have their money so they have no problem letting them die rather than them being caught.  In the US, they may get jail time but in other places they may get summary executed and a trial, if any, after words.  So they will leave these people to die in the desert which brings us to the excerpt below.  Even though our media portrays the Border Patrol in such poor light they are sometimes the angel of mercy for those that left seeking a dream only to left to die.

via Border Patrol Rescues 57 Illegal Immigrants Left For Dead By Smugglers | The Daily Caller

Border Patrol rescued a group of 57 Central American migrants abandoned by cartel smugglers in Arizona Friday.

The group of migrant men, women and children — including one underage pregnant girl and 36 minors — were left for dead in 108-degree heat and had to be rescued by the Tucson Sector Border Patrol, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Among the 36 minors who were as young as one year old, 17 were unaccompanied by an adult. The stranded illegal immigrants came from El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras and Guatemala, according to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.

Several of the migrants were given fluids to treat dehydration, and the pregnant female was given intravenous fluids by Border Patrol EMT’s and transported to a hospital for further treatment. The rest of the group was transported to Ajo station for processing.

“Regardless of the unscrupulous and ill regard for human life attitude by smugglers, Border Patrol Agents work tirelessly to ensure not only the safety and security of our nation but also the safety of those who they come in contact with,” Customs and Border Patrol said in a statement on their website.

Of this group, the 17 unaccompanied minor will probably end up with social services until their families can be located then the immigration courts will take over and the rest may be deported because they did not cross the border at a port of entry.

The Media and the political establishment keep saying that we are a nation of laws but we keep seeing that many are exempt from following or suffering the consequences of these laws.  That is like saying that if I come to your home and the front door and the back door is locked but the side window is open it is illegal for me to enter and make myself at home.  But if I do this, the Media and the Left say it ok for me to stay and make a life with you with no repercussions.

What a state we live in.

via Bernie Sanders Earns Over $1 Million in a Year, Again

Financial disclosure forms show that the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate who campaigned against the millionaires and billionaires is in fact one of them.

Last year marked the second year in a row that Sen. Bernie Sanders topped $1 million in earnings, according to Vermont Digger.

Sanders, on his campaign website, proclaimed that “wealth and income inequality is the great moral issue of our time, it is the great economic issue of our time, and it is the great political issue of our time.”

The Vermont independent, who caucuses with the Democrats, made almost $1.06 million last year. Of that, $174,000 came from his Senate salary and $885,767 from advances and royalties for his book deal.

The figures were similar in 2016, when Sanders joined the 1 percent by earning $858,750 from his book deal on top of his Senate salary, CNBC reported.

Some said Sanders’ wealth shows he plays the capitalist game even as he proclaims himself to be a socialist.

The disclosure forms show that Sanders owns three homes, including one on an island in Lake Champlain he bought in 2016 for $575,000. Sanders also lists two mortgages, one on a property valued at between $100,001 and $250,000 in value, and the other between $250,001 and $500,000.

When many people today can barely pay rent and feed themselves due to the policies and laws that people like Mr. Sanders and his fellow politicians have worked into our nations laws is sad.  These same people say they are on the side of the poor and downtrodden of our nation and they think that what is needed is to take from everyone and then give to everyone.

This has been done in the US and around the world at one time or another.  There was a time that you went to work for a company, paid by the company, lived in company supplied housing, bought everything you needed at the company store, and you never was able to get out of the manufactured debt you where in.  It is a way to control the masses.

If you believe that our capitalist system that we have in the US is so bad, I challenge you to pick a Marxist socialist country in this world today and move there for at least a year.  Before you go, after you have paid for your tickets, passport, and visa to your new home, place everything that you have here in a one year trust with instructions that you cannot withdraw anything, I mean “anything” ie. money, advances, or property, for that one year period.

Once you arrive you will have to find a place and a job for that one year.  You schooling will maybe allow you to game the system when you get there but they have laws and policies that may make you end up in jail or prison for thinking like a capitalist.  You can look for work and if you know somebody or have a skill that is needed, you may get a job if all the paperwork is filled out correctly.  You will have co-workers that may show up one day in a pay period and still get the same pay that you do for working the whole pay period.  You will find that if you tried the same thing, you will probably get a beat down by your fellow co-workers with the boss supervising because you are an outsider.  If you walk away from your job, you may have to wait awhile before you can get another job and you will have to find your food and lodging elsewhere.  In this workers paradise, all the laws support the worker and you will never get fired because one of those laws is that if you are fired you are to get five years severance pay all at once.  They would rather have your friends beat on you of find something that gets you placed in prison than give what little money, if it is worth much, to you.

After living and working in some of these places and actually talking to the locals, I have learned that with our many faults the United States is still one of the best countries to  live in.  My question to many that think that socialism is the way to go is ” What are you willing to give up to live this way?”.  Would these college professors that embrace the ideals of socialism willing to talk about it if their only payment for their job is a room to live in and a basic ration to live on?  In these countries alternative talk and ‘safe places’ is not encouraged.

Well Mr. Sanders, what are you willing to give up for your dream or is being a politication on capitalism working well for you?

Some Study Required

After this weekend explosion in the media after President Trump’s latest executive order.  One has to ask, how many of you have traveled outside the country as a normal citizen?

As an American citizen, you may have a opportunity to travel to some other part of our big world that is getting much smaller.  Be it for pleasure or work will make a big difference when you apply for a Visa, if needed, for your destination.  So, you jump through all the hoops, paperwork, travel permits, tickets, vaccination shot sand sometimes a ‘Fee’ when filing for your Visa just to get to your destination with your bright red suitcase and you step up to the local customs official and present them with your paperwork, just to find you have just broken one of their laws.

I am using the “Red Suitcase” as a simplistic version for this case.  In all your preparation for your trip you read about the local customs and laws that may pertain to you or it may have been a change while you were on your flight to the country.  I which case, if you do surrender your “Red” suitcase and carry your stuff in a shopping bag, the local customs officer can have you re-board the plane and send you away.  Just because you get a Visa does not guarantee you will have a good trip.

Before everyone get up in arms about my explanation, I do suggest that you take the time and look it up and read it for your self.  The United States immigration policy is rather large and has been updated by your elected leaders in Congress.  If you want it changed, you better make them do it.  It is just going to be enforced now.

Either option you chose on your trip you are now returning to the U.S. with your passport and other travel documents.  You are now in front of a U.S. Customs agent on U.S. soil, you present him with all the documentation and what you are coming back with.  You answer the agents questions and now find yourself moved to a room for a more in-depth interview.  Did you answer the previous questions right or was there something else?  Was there some medical problem that needs checked out.  Like a disease outbreak just after you boarded your plane.  Did you bring something that is not allowed in this country?  This is just some of the things that the Customs agent has to check off before you can re-enter the country.

That was just for an U.S. citizen, now what if you are an immigrant or refugee.  Many of them will get a Visa just to get them the ability to leave the country they are in, some will try to use this permission slip to get to the United States where up on arrival they have to ask and get the permission of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or through their agents at Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to actually enter the country.

While having a visa does not guarantee entry to the United States, it does indicate a consular officer at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate abroad has determined you are eligible to seek entry for that specific purpose. DHS/CBP inspectors, guardians of the nation’s borders, are responsible for admission of travelers to the United States, for a specified status and period of time. DHS also has responsibility for immigration matters while you are present in the United States.

Much of this information is availibly on line at the State Department, Department of Homeland Security, and the Customs and Border Protection website.

Once you are allowed in the country you will have to apply for a Green Card.  A Green Card is needed to continue your application to become a Citizen of the United States of America.  You can think of a Green Card like a probationary period.  There are may rules and ways that you can get a mark against you during this time.  You can find stories on the internet that people with a Green Card’s have done something that if they leave, they may have to do some paperwork to get back in or may not be allowed back in.

Many of these immigrants and refugees need sponsers to step up and be responsible for their requirments while they go through the process of learning to live and grow in the United States.  Wonder how many of the ‘not my problem’ protesting crowd will step up.  Once you start reading about the immigration laws and policies through the years, you won’t believe some of the things that caused immigrants in the past to be turned away for.  Before jumping on the bandwagon, some study required.
