A tourist was seriously injured when a bison flung him 8ft into the air in Yellowstone National Park.

According to the article, this is the second one this year. It continues to be seen that the Darwin Theory has once again trumped the Intelligent Design Theory. I can understand closing with a rather large wild animal in order to protect family or another human being but just to take a photo?  I know some phones have telephoto lenses, but I always use a long lens camera for wildlife photos. It is a bit safer.

I do hope this person recovers but I bet a Park Ranger will hand him a violation for interfering with wildlife or failing to give wildlife suitable safe distance.
