In one year from today American Citizens go to the Polls to elect to keep or replace many elected officials. How will we choose?
Will we choose because they promised the most but have never delivered that promise their entire career?
Will we chose because they look good on TV or a photo spread?
Will we chose because they have been there for so long, we think they have the clout to make the change promised.
Will we chose because they are Hollywood/Music stars?
Will we chose because they will really represent us because they said so?
Will we chose them because we don’t want to break the status quo?
Will we chose them because it is the political correct thing to do?
Will we chose them because of what Media tells us to?
Will we chose them because of what we see in the Social Media?
Will we chose them because my triggered safe-space overrides the rights of others?
Will we chose them because some foreign country tells us to.
Will we chose them because they believe in my Special Interest?
and the list can go on and on
OR
Will we stop thinking about ME, ME, ME?
We all have our ways of making the decision we will need to make, but it needs to be our decision. We need to find the Truth to make a decision. In the world of today, it is not impossible, but it can be done. Those in elected office for many years are not thinking of us as a whole but individual persons or groups that they can play off others.
We need to chose for the good of the City, State, or Federal office we are electing them to! We need to, not for one day, think about whom we chose to represent and lead us. We need to really ask the questions that others will not. We want someone that will work for all of us. Not just the extreme Left or Right. Then we just can’t stop and let them be, we have to keep them on track.
We have one year, to not listen to the rhetoric and find if we can put our trust in the person we go to the polls to pick, with our own decision.
